One-On-One Tour Hits Brazil

With a concert in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Paul McCartney starts tonight, Okt. 13,  the South American leg of his One-on-One Tour. After Brazil, McCartney is playing in Mexico later this month; A concert in Colombia has been canceled at the last minute. It is the second time that the One-On-One Tour heads to South America, after performances in Argentina in May 2016.

McCartney is playing tonight to a sold out stadium. The preparations for the concert began early, as shown in the picture below: While in Estádio Beira-Rio the stage was partly built up already, a football match still had to be played.


The weather in Porto Alegre is really bad. On Instagram, guitarist Brian Ray posted  a video showing huge showers pouring down at the stadium. Rain is also expected during the performance.

McCartney is playing Brazil for the first time since 2014, when he visited the country during the Out There Tour. The last gig in Porto Alegre was in 2010.
