Double McCartney release on Black Friday Record Store Day

Paul McCartney will support this year’s Black Friday Record Store Day with two colored vinyl 7-inches releases featuring a new version of his Christmas classic Wonderful Christmastime. This exclusive, limited edition  release will come as a red 7-inch featuring a live Norah Jones performance of "Peace" on the B-side, while a green version will include the Decemberists' take on "Jesus Christ" on the flip. Black Friday RSD is this year on November 24.

The new version features an a cappella remake of the song with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots. A slightly different version got its premiere on The Tonight Show in 2016, where McCartney, Fallon and the Roots performed the song together with the cast of the animated movie Sing.

The a cappella remake of Wonderful Christmastime by Paul, Jimmy Fallon and the Roots also appears on the compilation album ‘Holiday Rule, Vol. 2’, which is released earlier this week via Capitol Records.
