Ringo Joins Macca On Stage In London (video)

A full packed O2 Arena went a bit bananas when Ringo Starr joined Paul McCartney on stage, last night, December 16, in London. Together with Rolling Stone Ron Wood they performed The Beatles’ classic Get Back, for a star-studded crowd, with the likes of Chris Martin, Roger Daltrey, Harry Styles and Emma Thompson. Also in attendance at the 20,000-capacity venue were his wife Nancy Shevell, and daughter Stella; Younger relatives were there “watching Grandad rock”, as he proudly told the audience.

The London show was the last McCartney live date for this year. The Freshen Up tour will resume in March with a set of South American dates, before it moves north for a string of gigs across the US.
