McCartney's Rocking Return To Liverpool (video)
Macca kicked off the UK leg of his Freshen Up tour last night in Liverpool. It was the third time this year, Paul played in his hometown. This summer he also performed twice for very small audiences, at the Cavern and the Philharmonic Pub.
As usual for a McCartney concert, it was a greatest hits set mixed with newer and less played material including numbers from his new album Egypt Station.

At the encore, while snow was falling on the audience, McCartney also played Wonderful Christmastime as an extra, accompanied by the LIPA Youth Choir.
Paul will play Glasgow tomorrow, December 14, and London next Sunday. After these the Freshen Up Tour continues with a South American leg in March, with performances in Chili, Argentina and Brazil.
