Fanbook 2018 Update: What’s it going to be?

It’s almost finished, the book I’m working on. A couple of pages to go, then checking, checking and checking for mistakes and after that I can send it to the printing company, that’ll be around the first weekend of December. It was a bit of a wild idea, the decision to make a year review about Macca in 2018; and more work than I’d expected. But above all, it’s fun making it and I thank you all for the positive replies on the first posts about the book.

What’s it going to be? First of all, it’s an overview in chronological order, so date by date. With that it contains of course a lot of news stories, interviews and background information (such as a song by song overview) about the new album Egypt Station and the accompanying promotional campaign. 

In addition, it’s also about the new Freshen Tour, the next two releases of the Archive Collection, Wild Life and Red Rose Speedway, and the 50th anniversary of the White Album. And that is not the only celebration to which attention is paid: also the anniversaries of London Town (40), Choba B CCCP (30) and Electric Arguments (10) have got their place in the book. In this way, almost all phases in Paul's career, The Beatles, Wings, solo and The Fireman, are represented in this year overview.

As I said, most of the work has been done. A lot of what I am doing now, is a completely new experience to me: Like getting a book printed, setting up a elementary but effective web shop and arranging the shipping of the book.
