Paul and Ringo pay tribute to Aretha Franklin

Paul McCartney has paid tribute on social media to Aretha Franklin, who passed away today at the age of 76. 

On twitter Paul stated that the Queen of Soul was a great inspiration for many years. Also Ringo paid tribute to her:

Earlier this week, Aretha Franklin was reported to have been “gravely ill.” Her family revealed, in a statement via her publicist, that she died due to advance pancreatic cancer of the neuroendocrine type.
